"Fern House is beautiful house set in lush rainforest. Everything we could possibly want was there. We spent a lot of time just hanging out on the extensive balcony, and our boys loved the upstairs retreat area with its musical instruments. It was lovely to hear the array of wildlife sounds at night! "Warm welcome. Amazing setting with a river at their door step. Falling asleep to the sound of that river was magical. Fantastic conversations with both Peter and Steve. Great guys with amazing stories and great travel tips for my future camping spots in the Kimberley region. Yummy eggs on toast for breakfast and even better, a pea & ham soup that Peter gifted me for my journey. Peter that soup was a party in my mouth, so so delicious. I can't thank you enough. "Rochelle and Ian are thoughtful hosts who provide a lovely home away from home experience for travellers. The cabin is cozy but has everything you need for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning and evening. The garden is beautiful and fully fenced which helped us to relax as our dog was safe and had a great space to wander around and explore. Rochelle is a dog whisperer and won over our very selective dog. Kurramine beach was a quick trip and Mission beach and Innisfail are 20 minutes drive. We will return as we found the property was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend. "
