Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. "We stayed a week at a Helgafell suite in the beginning of November. The suite was in two floors with a sundeck on roof. Modern interior, 2 BR, 2 bath and one toilet. The house in located in the Allegra gated community, pools in the area (not heated). Everything worked well, friendly and helpful host. Parking in the community area and street parking available. Good internet. Grocery stores within walking distance, restaurants, pubs and other stores in the town."

"This place was fantastic. It’s right on the beach and the staff are super friendly. La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend. "

"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are fresh, clean and tidy, air con is superb and some great sea views from the balcony. Wi-Fi a bit hit and miss but that's life. Food was very good especially the evening meal with lots and lots of choice. Will definitely stay again!"

It had both large opening windows and AC, but still given the temperature outside (~30C during the day when I was there) it was hard to get a good balance with those and avoiding getting bugs and flies coming in. Didn't try any of the food options. It is close to a few shops and restaurants (including a supermarket) and bus stops for Torrevieja (bus every ~30 mins or so)."
