Milan short stay

Perfect for our short Milan visit, only minutes from the Castello/Duomo and Train station (Cadorna) Hotel seems to have had a recent re-furb so all clean and fresh. Amir, on the front desk was a wealth of information and made made us feel at home.

Great location, simple room.

The location of the hotel could not be better. Right in the middle of the city centre of Milan, walkable to all major tourist spots. The room itself is very small, with barely enough room to keep an open suitcase. But it is clean, and secure, and the hotel staff are all very nice and friendly.

Room very basic but fine just for somewhere to lay your head at night. Staff friendly and helpful if needed. Just very noisy unfortunately you could hear the scraping of the furniture from anywhere it seemed so was awake from 5am both mornings. However very central to everything!

What a delightful treat this turned out to be. I confess it was a last minute change of hotel and I'm so glad I did. Just 10 minutes from Cadorna train station, only 5 minutes from Castle Sforza and The Duomo. Perfect for a few nights in Milan. Hotel staff were friendly - should out to the lovely gentleman covering the reception for most of my stay. He really made excellent cappuccino. Room was small but clean - what more do you need?

The location is 10/10. However, the rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. We were not able to turn on the Air Conditioner (we asked for help to 3 different members of the staff). The rooms are clean and renovated. The bathroom is also extremely small, it’s very difficult to have a proper shower, and also had a bad smell. It lacks of basic bathroom spaces: like a towel hanger, somewhere to put your personal hygene accesories, and even a place in the washbasin to put the soap.

Positive surprise

When me and my friend decided to go here on our interrail trip, choosing a hotel in milano and where was sort of a last minute decision, reading the reviews of the place made me a little nervous due to my bad habit of only reading negative reviews. To our surprise things had changed alot since these reviews were being written back in 2015 and the hotel had been totally and completely renovated by the time we arrived. Our impression was that this hotel deserved more than the 2 stars given, and especially Amars service in the lobby was friendly, above what was expected of him and quick. We left super satisfied of our stay!
