"Very comfortable, well appointed holiday home in a rural setting only a few minutes drive from Rouffignac village with all the essentials. Plenty to do and see in the area. The house is superb, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the only downside was the weather so we didn't use the pool as much as we would have liked. The best house we have stayed at in France, we will definitely return. "

"The property offers two lovely, restored country houses, built before the time of Napoleon out of local limestone, outside of Rouffignac. The area is rolling terrain with agricultural land punctuated by forests. Sarlat is an easy drive away through spectacular, cliff-lined valleys. Lascaux also nearby. We stayed in both houses, one larger with a pretty terrace and swimming pool; one smaller also with terrace and pool. Both have modern kitchens and bathroom facilities. The most important thing to mention is the abundant courtesy and responsiveness of the hosts, who promptly addressed our every need. A note for anyone arriving on the A89 expressway from Clermont-Ferrand: probably best to ignore your GPS and drive almost to Périgueux, exiting at Boulazac and taking the D710 highway south. Your GPS may recommend leaving the A89 earlier and threading your way to Rouffignac on the D6089 via Thenon. We found that trickier and more time consuming."

"We have just spent two relaxing weeks at Marc's lovely home, as a family of grandparents, daughter and 8 month old granddaughter. Amelie made us feel very welcome on arrival, thank you. Everything was perfect for us - really comfortable beds, well equipped kitchens, great baby equipment, lovely pool and a garden that felt like being in our own arboretum. We were after a quiet and relaxing holiday, so didn't travel about much, however we enjoyed several trips to the old town in Perigeux and to Le Bugue and will certainly explore more should we return, which we hope to do in the future. Everyone we encountered in the nearby village was really welcoming. The weather wasn't brilliant so we didn't make use of the summer kitchen area but can imagine lazy lunches and evenings spent out there. The children's play equipment and facilities also looked great, for children of toddler age upwards. All in all, a great experience and we'd recommend Domaine de Laugerie to anyone wanting a laid back family holiday."

"We stayed for one night. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were large. A nice patio to enjoy wine and appetizers, and breakfast was excellent. The ground are beautiful. A nice venue for a wedding. "

"The property is a well equipped sympathetic barn conversion. The space is well designed and nothing disappointed. The area is extremely calm and quiet, very relaxing. Marie-Paule is a most genial landlady and kindly gave us home made jam, fresh from the property."

"Plenty of space indoors and outdoors . Everything you would need for a family holiday. There were 8 adults and a 3 year old and a baby. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was great and we were shown how to operate the pool cleaning. Lots of outdoor seating made eating outdoors very pleasant. Our hosts were very helpful when we were unable to put up the cot. Good WiFi."
