"I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again. "

"House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. "A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"Had a lovely Xmas eve through to Boxing Day, didnt get a chance to use the sauna unfortunately but log fire was lovely. Beds very comfy, but sofa bed quite firm.Andy very communicative and friendly Would recommend."

"The property is clean and warm, the shower is fabulous and the facilities adequate for a short stay. There is a lot of building work going on in the area though this doesn't start till breakfast time, so didn't disturb our sleep! No oil/salt etc so take yours, cooking facilities otherwise ample and got out to good use! Sofa bed in the living room is super small though, so check dimensions with host before booking if you're average size or above. Comfortable, but too small for two average size...

"The general ambience of the hotel is very calm and pleasant. But it lacks attention to detail. Replenishment of the coffee was a bit lax. Decaf coffee pods replaced by normal and i’m not allowed to drink caffeine! The bed springs were sticking through and the hotel needs a refurbishment. The restaurant is okay fo breakfast but not for an evening meal. My big gripe is that management couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge my concerns It’s convenient and staff try hard but … "

"Always stay here as the service is the best in MK! Had no clue you had to pre-book the carpark now as its a change of management. Having downloaded the app and tried to book the parking, it was fully booked! Note for next time. Also could have displayed it on the hotels.com website so customers are aware prior to travelling by car. "

"The staff were fantastic for our 2 night stay. I had 3 children with me and the staff gave them activity packs. The rooms were a good size. Everything was absolutely fine for a couple of nights. Location was great, we were a 5 minute drive from excellent restaurants and shopping centres. The harvester is opposite the hotel but this was over priced and the food mediocre at best. Although convenient, you'd be better of driving or grabbing a taxi to somewhere nicer. "

"Great overnight stay with two kids age 5 and 7. Had a lovely time. The hotel was very welcoming, especially Becky on reception. We loved the peacocks and feeding them was such a treat. We got a taxi into Tring to the Natural history museum which was fun. The family room was lovely and spacious. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff!"
