Area is very convenient. Though for being a brand new hotel, there were some places that seemed "old". Quiet- food selections nice- though GF options- would be nice if they were out instead of needing to ask for them.

Check in was good! The front desk man was friendly and let us check in early. Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was grimy looking with big brown/black smears on the bottom-does not look like it had been cleaned. During the evening we went to play cards in the lobby and there was a bucket collecting a leak dropping from the ceiling.. fast forward to 11 AM when we checked out the bucket was still there and it does not look like anyone was looking on fixing it even though it was in the middle of the entrance . During the night there were kids running up and down the hallway on and off till 230 am, and we had to ask for breakfast to be refilled although there was an hour left and when I asked if they could make more food the lady at the front desk didn’t acknowledge my question and just walked to the kitchen and didn’t answer me.

Except for the pool (which had a lot of sand on the bottom), the hotel and our room were generally clean. Staff were friendly and responsive. However, there was poor attention to detail. Our room had insufficient towels for the number of beds. Pool towels were often not available, and staff did not seem to be regularly checking. Breakfast was wiped out and there were no staff in sight who seemed to be monitoring and refilling items. We were able to hear people in the rooms above ours walking…constantly. The single elevator was painfully slow and in high demand. The location is mixed. You’ll have to plan on driving everywhere. But we appreciated not having to pay the higher hotel costs of Mequon, Cedarburg, etc.
