I feel relaxing in this small nice onsen area. The hotel provides pick up service to the bus stop, which is very convenient. Staffs provided good service which i feel like a 5stars hotel. Although the meals are buffets instead of traditional Japanese style, the food quantity is very good. I enjoyed the sabu sabu with beef the most. A lots of free flow alcohol during dinner and night.

The hotel had multiple onsen each of different style. Very enjoyable. The view from the room faced forestry, which would be beautiful in autumn when the leaves turned red. The sound on rushing water from the rapids nearby gave a soothing feeling. The service staff coordination was great too, when you arrive or checked out, they will ask for your name or room number, then inform recep or the car assistant to prepare your keys. Things which were not great 1/ food at the buffet was often cold or like warm,other than soup. 2/ would have been nicer if it were kaiseki

There are many different choices of onsens in the ryokan. The staff are excellent as well, their english proficiency is one of the best I’ve seen as well. Although there were some incidents at the start when we check in, the staffs are very efficient at dealing with it. Overall I’ll recommend anyone who visits Kurokawa onsen to give this ryokan a try

ć„Șćœ©hotel is a place with both Japanese and modern style. The price is reasonable , as customers can enjoy private hot spring, which is so family friendly. It is very close to hot spring street , just 5 minutes walk . Easy to go during lanterns festival ( night time) , when we are in Japanese outfits. There are serval hot springs options .

Highly recommend for overseas travellers

This is the only one hotel which provided the exceptional service during my 11-day trip in Fukuoka. The staff members no matter in front desk or valet parking speak both English and Putonghua well and provide the excellent customer service. The bufffet dinner provides the wide range of choices in high quality. The only one thing that needs further improvement is the hygiene, I saw there’s a spider net on the top floor.

Highly recommend for those coming with toddler and young kids, given their dinner n breakfast are in buffet style, which come with Japanese n western style, raw and cooked food are in above average quality. However , if you are couples that are looking for more high quality of food n experience, this is not your place, cause it doesn't offer in-room dining. Private Onsen is first come first serve basis. They come with 5 public onsens.

Great value. Beautiful facility. Good service. Buffet dinner and breakfast were especially enjoyable. Variety of onsens on site. They even have a rooftop telescope for stargazing. Only con was the Japanese rooms do not have any shower or tub. Nowhere to take a shower in your room. You must go to the onsen and be naked in front of others to bathe. I'm not sure where one would go if they were uncomfortable with that.

The onsen hotel is very old so there is strong smell of old rotten wood at room. There is no room service nor any snack shop at all when you need some food. The hotel didnt remind us that the restaurant closes at 8:30pm. Hence when you arrives later than that you need to buy food from outside the region. Air condition is very poor that you cannot choose cool or warm. It is centralized controlled by checkin counter that warm air is provided even in October such a hot weather still
