I had a wonderful experience at the Roadway Inn in Mineola, Texas. The management was absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests have a great stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. For the price, it’s definitely the best value in the area. I’ll absolutely be staying here again next time I’m in town!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Very clean rooms very nice a very old place kind of rundown outside Parking not the greatest but for the price upstairs next step is about 9 inches tall kind of a pain.
the room was very clean and comfortable the only problem I had was that there is no handicapped accessibility. Bathroom was quite small could not get in with my walker.
Great location, close to downtown (& Amtrak 0.4 miles), across street from highest-rated restaurant in town. Renovating, so mostly new items, just some extra noise & dirt.
the hotel was conveniently located next to the highway but very quiet. We could have easily walked to so many quaint shops for lunch and dinner. However, traffic was easy to navigate. The gentleman tending the front desk was very quick to get us checked in.and friendly as well. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitrly stay here again.
We stayed here for the Canton trade days weekend. It was very clean and the staff were nice and friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby. There were a few electrical issues (outlets and light switches not working properly) and the bed was super hard, there were no lamps either. Other than that it was wonderful! For the price it was a bargain!
We were only here for one night. Arrived at 8:30 pm. Check in was easy. The room was clean. No carpet, I like that. The mattress was nice & big,, firm and oh so comfortable. I slept well. My only complaint, is there's no closet! No place to hang clothes! There's space, they just need to hang up a rod. It is an old motor court, updated. It is cute, clean & comfy. My husband and I are in town for a family reunion, so we'll be checking out in about an hour. Am enjoying a hot cup of coffee while laying in bed before starting this busy day. No breakfast, so don't expect that, but I knew that when I booked. It has a big fridge, small microwave, little coffee maker, (no cups) small desk and chair. I should have thought to take pics when we arrived, but were exhausted from a 10 hour drive. I took some this morning. Nice stay for the price. Would recommend.
Good price close to everything downtown could use light controls near the bed with maybe a lamp instead of the overwhelming light overall in the room you can only turn off near the entry door good tv with lots of choices bed was kinda hard but I think it was kinda new maybe just needs broke in there is hand soap shampoo and body wash provided that is decent also there is a nice sized refrigerator and also a microwave looks like the place was recently updated with what looks like they still may be working on some things also it was very quiet which was nice
Room was updated and relatively clean. Bathroom was full of mosquitos and no window so not sure how they got in. TV remote sound adjustment was not working properly, hit it once and it wouldn’t stop until it was all of the way up or all of the way down.

Check in went well. Young man was very Pleasant
He explained they had just opened and a few items were on order but had not arrived. So my room did not have a chair, clothes rack or cups. The second day I ask if they had any kind of chair (even a folding) the young man said he would look. On my second request he said give him 5 minutes. It has now been about an hour and no chair or call telling me he could not find one. Also there is no ice machine. I am going to sleep now. Checking out in the morning.

Everything was great except the wooden steps and balcony some felt loose and some screws looked like they were loose
Our room was run down, missing iron and microwave. No blanket on the bed. We had to slam our door shut and one of the outlets didn't work. No ice machine or anything for that matter. No phone in the room. Never again.
The room air conditioner was not on when i arrived at about 6.30pm. It was a west facing room so the room temp was 90 so it finally cooled to 70 the next day. The first night was a Hot night!

You cant turn a pigs ear into a silk purse...but they tried...room was remodeled...clean...new tv...bed and was very comphy...people at desk were nice...only real shortcomings were the toilet crammed against the wall with paper holder in your side...seat broken...water was a little brown...would not reccamend drinking it...both sink and tub drains were very slow...faucet was a guessing game...turn it clock wise...ac has hidden buttons on front...great resturant across street and several others to choose from in walking distance...

I didn't like how afte returned to our room and still had dirty towels and rags... had to go retrieve them myself from front desk... and toilet paper holder that was made of stainless steel so close to toilet that it almost cuts you when you sit if your not paying attention... toilet seat so lose can hardly stay on toilet
