"The property was spacious, clean and well presented. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs and the hard floors were easily kept clean from muddy paws. The location of the property allowed us to visit many places during our stay and the caretakers local knowledge allowed us to find a beach close by for the dogs to play in the water. All in all, an excellent place to be in and be based from."

While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. "This house is fantastic. Our favorite property in our month long UK adventure. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen.
