"It took 25 mins to check us in to our room as it wasn't ready, even though check in is from 1400hrs, this was at 0010, the time I emailed the hotel and confirmed we would arrive due to the time of our flight. The shower was then blocked and the bathroom subsequently flooded, so we couldn't shower properly. I rang customer services, who were no help at all, they transfered me and I was told they'd get back in touch, they didn't. Genuinely not impressed! On a positive note, the shuttle service...

"As a solo traveler, the room was a perfect size. The local was great, totally walkable to Kennedy Park and even to the beach. Tours were able to pick me up from it which is great. While not a direct amenity, there is a spa onsite which you can book separately and it was so convenient. I had the breakfast buffet once, which was just fine. Staff was generally nice and friendly. Definitely recommend, especially for solo travelers."
