Getaway from it all and enjoy the vacation you and your family have been thinking about throughout the long cold mid-western winter in this all private, beautiful log cabin that has two bedrooms on the main floor and a second story addition which includes a master suite that would envy that of almost any luxury hotel. The two bedrooms downstairs could sleep 5 comfortably as one has a queen bed and the other has bunk beds consisting of a double on the bottom and a twin on top and a full bath that separates the two rooms, it also includes stackable washer & dryer. We added a queen bed upstairs to help accommodate more guests both beds have a door between them and are private.
The master suite has a king-size bed, standing closet, 3/4 bath including a sunken spa tub with jet ports, sink & toilet. Enjoy an unbeatable view from the master suite through an entire wall of glass that overlooks Leader Lake. If you get a little chilly at night click the fieldstone fireplace remote to get as comfy as you want or to simply enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful room with your partner. Feel the deep padded carpet beneath your feet when you take in the surroundings of this beautiful lake property from the master suite. There is also a loft upstairs separated from the master by sliding glass doors this room now has a bed in it as well as room for an air mattress to sleep more people if needed.
The main family living room has a large fieldstone gas fireplace, ceiling fan, couch, card table, and chairs to rest, talk amongst yourselves, or watch your favorite movies on the 65 inch Samsung smart tv.
If your party needs more room for sleeping bags this living area would be a great place for up to as many as 3-4 sleeping bags.
The kitchen has also remodeled (2012) to include a chef's gas stove/oven, refrigerator with water/ice, large dining table, buddy bar type serving table, a lot of natural light, and beautiful resurfaced and polyurethaned log walls and woodwork. No need to bring any of your kitchen from home as this kitchen has everything you will need when you make some of your favorite dishes from home or when you prepare your freshly caught walleye, northern, small & largemouth bass, crappies, bluegills or sunfish.
Throughout the day & evening, everyone can sit and enjoy the sites & sounds of nature from the enormous screened in front porch which measures approximately 7' x 30'. The porch also has an extra refrigerator/freezer. Enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the lake's loons singing their song or at night on the porch you can sit by the light of the moon & the stars or turn on the porch lights. Just outside the porch is a charcoal grill for your use. You can also start a fire on the beach at night just a few feet from the large dock and surround it with your favorite campfire chairs for everyone's favorites... smores.
If you're not out on the five-person pontoon, on the water in the paddle boat, canoe or fishing from the aluminum dock then why not take a nice relaxing sauna from the log cabin sauna, located just steps beyond the main cabin. The outside was left original aside from a few new nails or screws but wanted to leave the exterior with its original charm that can not be duplicated. The inside is a different story. There is a separate shower room just before entering the sauna, with new cedar-lined walls and ceiling, benches, and stove. After the sauna run if you dare to the lake for an immediate cool down in the warm water of Leader Lake.
Enjoy the 290' of sandy beach frontage, explore the property while there and pick your own blueberries (if in season), fish, swim, take a leisurely hike over the 15 acres and if you brought your ATV's or utv's ride the sandy trails that are all around the area and most of all... Enjoy yourselves and each other in the deep woods of northern Wisconsin and make the most of your hard-earned, well-deserved vacation.
And if you read all of this thank you, please don't hesitate to contact us with questions. We truly love this area and have an additional cabin on the same lake as well as a campground with a bar and restaurant just down the road.
