The room smelled like paint, the fan in the bathroom didn't work and it smelled musty and like mildew when it got warm in there from taking a shower, there were only enough towels for 2 people and we had 4 in our party. The comfort had stains on it. The rod to open the shade to the patio door broke on 1st use. Half of the channels on the TV didn't work. Around 9 pm there were 2 girls running up to patio doors knocking on them and then running back and jumping in the pool. There were a group of kids constantly running through the halls around the top floor of the pool. We were constantly woke up by the large group of adults that were out in the pool area drinking and being so loud and arguing until 3:40 am we barely got any sleep and we had to be awake at 6 am to go to the event that we were in town for.

Stayed one night there. Somehow someone got our room keys after 10 pm and barged into our room. We had kids in there and they wouldn’t shut the door when told “what do you want” and the door continued to stay open. 10-15 minutes after that the fire alarm was pulled somewhere in the building. Nothing was done to compliment our stay and it was a very bad experience.

This place is a very good value and very pleasant place to stay. It is an old building but they are also diligently updating and maintainning the place. I feel that this place deserves recognition for value and diligent and friendly staff who try very hard to provide a wonderful experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay where we could have our 3 year old granddaughter stay with us safely and joyfuly!

With new ownership comes a learning curve for any property. So mistakes will be made, but I have to give credit to the staff that when these issues happened, they owned up to it and fixed it immediately. As time goes by and things start falling into place, this will move from an 'okay place to stay' to a 'great place to stay' without a doubt
