My experience with this property and Expedia was absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. After traveling 12 exhausting hours with my two children, we arrived at the hotel only to find it completely unstaffed. No one was there to help us check in, and despite multiple calls to both the property and Expedia, we received no assistance. I had no choice but to find another hotel late at night, paying out of pocket just to shelter my family.
During my discussions with Expedia, the agent stated that I had to check in between 4 PM and 5 PM or I would not be able to check in at all. This policy is completely unrealistic for travelers arriving later in the day, but to make matters worse, no check-in instructions or warnings about this were provided at any point—no emails, no calls, no details anywhere. How was I supposed to know?
The following day, we managed to check in. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly kind—the only saving grace in this entire ordeal. However, the rest of the experience quickly turned sour again. Two other front desk agents were rude and dismissive. One turned their back on us while another agent muttered “uhuhhhh” while staring at the computer, which felt like a snide dismissal—almost as if he was saying, "this is the troublemaker!" By then, I chose to stay quiet because I was completely fed up.
The room was even worse. It felt unclean and moldy, with an old, sticky carpet and grimy tiles. The bathrooms reeked of a smell reminiscent of an
