"This was our first trip to Peurto Vallarta. The Grand Park Royal is in a beautiful spot (10 min by cab) to the Zona Romantica. We were able to climb thr beach boulders for 35 min to Playa Paredon and we walked to Los Arcos, finding a quiet beach along the way with no one else there. Thr hotel itself is well.positioned with all rooms looking over the beach and ocean. We watched whales breaching in the morning while sipping coffee on our balcony. "Great resort but definitely short staffed. Check in was a nightmare with rooms canceled due to a computer issue. We were part of a wedding party of 150 guests so this was a huge deal for many of us. Room service world quote 30 minutes for delivery and on one occasion took an hour and a half! I’d prefer a true time so I can decide if I want to order or not. The staff tried their best but were handicapped due to hotels lack of staffing."
