Couple things could have been better
Had 3 senior couples together for anniversary weekend, yet we had some high and lows. Property was an excellent location and literally not more than 20 minutes from any activity, from Union Station, River Market, and Kaufman Stadium. Only two concerns- 1) the first night the two queen beds, one had a fitted sheet and comforter, the other had a flat sheet and comforter. I may be old-fashioned, but I prefer two sheets on the bed. Texted the manager that night, but no reply so we just went to Walmart and bought two sheet sets. Next morning the manager texted back. and said that everything was complete and she had pictures (?), wanted to know if we had pictures. Not sure what I had to prove over the matter, but figured it wasn't worth my time. She did offer the code to locked linen closet, would've been helpful the first night. Second issue- entry is made w/ code on deadbolt lock, but leaving one day we set the doorknob lock. I texted and asked if they had a key as I noticed a lock box for a spare key, or if they could have someone swing by to unlock door knob. She said no key in lock box, a previous renter lost it. She did offer to call a locksmith but would charge us $200. She offered a secondary entrance, but that didn't work, so I told her 'never mind'. Overall great location, house was clean and convenient for our purpose. I would be ready to improvise if you encounter an issue, in our case I felt like manager was critical and not as customer oriented...'Signs of the times'

Overland Park stay
If you like to hang out and play board games and watch TV, the main living room is great. If you want to do anything else, like sleep in a comfortable bed, this is not your house. We went out and bought pillows. No iron, extra sheets or blankets, quality bedding, and no access code to get in. VRBO app was also a problem in communicating with the owner. Pretty much done with all of it.

Nicely remodeled home, new appliances
The place was as advertised. It is a split level home that has been remodeled so it has new flooring, kitchen, bath and appliances. 3 bedrooms with queen beds, although getting 2 in the third bed would be tough as it is tucked against the wall. We had 5 adults total. Plenty of space, AV worked great (Summer time). There is open concept with kitchen, dining room and dining area, so that was great. The lower level is not finished and not part of what you would use. 2 car garage is nice if you have sedans. It has 2 separate garage doors with a center seoarating sectiin, so most likely large SUVs and trucks won't fit in there. There is a huge back yard, but we didnt use it. One thing to note is that it is on the corner of a through street. Sometimes there are loud cars or trucks going through. It isnt bad, but just be aware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The house is fine; nice kitchen, TV room, all the accessories you want. Just be sure you're working (read "communicating") well in advance with 'Host" because reaching them is difficult and they are slow to respond. Cleaning lady saved me by having alternate code to get in at 8pm with rain on horizon; host provided code was not functional.

LOCKED OUT / NO RESPONSE
On the night we arrived we were promptly locked out. The Keypad did not function (later it was determined the batteries were dead). After traveling 10 hours with a trailer, this is pretty frustrating. I understand this happens, but the complete lack of response by anyone was what was very frustrating. The manager messaged us back finally the next morning and said: "Did you get in?". We came back the next day after working all day only to see a pack of new batteries thrown on the porch for us to handle. The promised us a credit back but have yet to receive anything.

Quick Graduation Trip
The OP/Mission house was perfect for the short time we were in town. The home was exactly as described and pictured. The basement with the foosball table was a hit with our boys. Even though it was a quick trip we enjoyed our time.

Nice home
The property was stocked very well. Enough toiletries and kitchen supplies you'd need for your stay. Property was in a good neighborhood and was comfortable with plenty of space. Only downfall upon arrival was the floors were dirty and dusty. I had to sweep floors in entire house. Kitchen counter and bathrooms were clean. But looked as if no one had been there for months and no touch up clean was done prior to arrival. Propery host was responsive when contacted.

Easy base to navigate KC
The property met our needs. It was not what I would call clean. Lots of dust bunnies on both levels of the house. Hair on the bathroom floor. A single shoe was found under a bed. Beds were great for sleeping. We brought bikes, so having access to the garage was great so we didn't have to cart them everywhere we went. Easy access to highways.
