You will definitely need to rent a car where ever you stay in Amami because it makes everything a lot easier to get around the Island. "A fantsstic little hotel right on the bluff above the beach. Super room--clean, comfortable, wood floors, a little balcony overlooking the sea. Delicious Japanese food, both breakfast and dinner, and Ryuku musicians played at dinner. Great staff. I loved this place. "
