"The neighborhood where the property was located was unsafe, as we witnessed drug deals occurring upon our arrival. My family felt that the location was not secure enough for us to stay. The neighborhood was terrible; the house next door was boarded up, and another house was a few doors down. Needless to say, we left without staying. "

"This property has at least five abandoned/boarded up homes around it. The neighborhood is quiet, but it's not very family friendly. Our stay was quiet, the listing was accurate as far as living space but lacking specifics. It is a shared property, so not private. On road parking only, again a drawback."

"My best friend and I had the most incredible weekend staying in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo thanks to our host, Laura, and her delightful accommodations. Laura went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Great coffee and tea, snacks, and toiletries… and the stylish apartment with its charming front porch made for a relaxing and enjoyable home away from home. "Had such a lovely time - quaint spot, sweet town, super clean and accommodating little apartment. The shower was a bit small for tall folks, but not a bummer, just mentioning for a heads up for taller/robust adults! Hard to shave pits. Totally fine because who cares about pit hair anyway? Not this hippy. Loved our stay. We'll be back!"

"Sometimes photos lie. In this case, everything was as promised! We had what we needed and more! Thank you for the wine and chocolates- a nice touch. It was just the perfect place for family to meet up and spend a couple of days together."

"Overall the stay was great! The place was very clean and the property manager was very prompt with responses to questions. The only 2 minor issues, personally, were... 1. If someone is renting the upstairs, you can hear every move they make downstairs. The steps for the upstairs guests are only separated by 2 doors that would lead into the downstairs apartment but are remain locked. One of those doors is very to the bedrooms. Therefore, it's somewhat loud when they come in our out. The other...

"I recently stayed at Glenn's home for a family get together (a chance for my 3 children to get to see their grandparents who can no longer travel). The property was fantastic. We cooked at home one evening and the kitchen was well stocked. The large dining room table in the great room was perfect for a group.The home was well furnished, all of the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the view of the river is incredible. "Our Stay was Wonderful. Checking in was quick and easy. Staff was Very Friendly and Helpful. Very Conveniently placed which is a plus. It made it easy for us to come in and out since we were so close to the Bridge to Goat Island. When we entered our room, it was clean for the most part, (not so clean behind the table and tv). Water pressure was good. Breakfast was awesome. Employees again, Were Courteous, kind, helpful and Awesome. Very Friendly. All in All, We were there celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary and we are very blessed to have stayed with you guys. We will definitely see you soon. "

Holiday Inn Express Grand Island - Niagara Falls by IHG

"Location was perfect in a very quiet area away from the busy area of the falls--but only a few minutes drive away from all the sights. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our family of five. The pool was surprisingly warm and we loved the little mini waterfall touches. Breakfast had a lot of hot and cold options and was well-maintained (shout out to the hardworking man working weekday breakfasts, he does a great job!). Since there's nothing right around the hotel it's nice that they have the rooftop bistro, though we didn't try the food (just happy hour drinks, super convenient). We would definitely come back!"

"The hotel was just what I needed for a busy weekend - The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I faced the parking lot and it was surprisingly quiet. (the kids across the hall, not so much) Comfy mattress, pillows, soft sheets - slept well. I didn't eat the breakfast due to other plans, just took a look and it was as you'd expect. Coffee was fine. Will very likely stay there again later in the year."
