"The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "

"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. The beach is easily accessed, the indoor pool is good, though a bit warm if you are swimming for exercise, and it is in close proximity to 'restaurant row' in Lorne. The building seems to be well maintained, though is a bit dated. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is ok. Overall, a good choice for travellers staying in the area for a few days."
