"Staying for one night to visit the area...hotel is very well located and very quiet..the rooms are a good size and clean. The breakfast was good.. Beds are comfy and bedding is clean and cozy."

"Staying in the deluxe room with the jacuzzi on the patio was a must. It’s a short walk to town although the restaurant food quality was a bit disappointing and restaurants were empty due to the season. We didn’t dine at hotel. However we capped off each night with a drink in the hotel’s fabulous rooftop bar. The hotel was almost empty so it was surprising we had to wait for our room( we arrived early) but they kept saying not ready when when we finally came back at the specified check in time there was a lineup and then we had to wait even longer. However the gentleman at check in was helpful when we were trying to get a package delivered. "

"Exceptionally friendly bar staff. Food was great and full of choice. Very peaceful in January which was exactly what we wanted. Will be back!"

"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural harbour so the fishing boats are launched by tractor pushing them into the sea. Many eateries, cafes etc in the town. The bed we had was very comfy and the shower was so lovely , with power and heat. Also had a fridge in the room. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Cheers 😁😁"

"Fantastic resort at a great location. Service was impeccable. If I had one negative, it's that I wish that the dining options included more Spanish cuisine. The room service menu had very few Spanish items, and even the restaurants were not particularly Spanish in focus. For many visiting the area, the Andalucian cuisine is what we look forward to. But, overall, a wonderful resort."

"This an older property but has charm! Easily assessable for wheelchairs! Beech counted to property by a boardwalk. "

"Mostly a good experience. The very minimal kitchen equipment made cooking not an option, no strainer for example. Internet good. Linen and towels good. Staff pleasant. "
