"The Chalet is just below a lift into Montalbert. It is wonderfully appointed; the ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite and a bunk room with a huge luxury shower room. The first floor has an open plan kitchen, lounge with a large table, balcony and the best alpine views. We loved sharing meals and chores here. Just below the chalet is a 200m walk to the Notre Dame De Neige, a wonderful small chapel that has been lovingly restored. I do hope that we will be able to go back, this...

"We had a small party of 7 Road cyclists and loved our stay. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and WCs with ample storage for all of the bikes and equipment. The owner responded quickly to all communications and was extremely helpful and accommodating. This is a perfect location for road cycling as long as you like endless tough climbs on the doorstep."

The only downside I would say it’s that it’s not made clear that the outdoor pool is only accessible with a spa pass, so it’s worth booking a spa-access room. Otherwise they will offer to upgrade you for 81 euros per night, or buy a 3 hr spa pass for 35 euro, but when we tried that they were fully booked. It’s cheaper to do it when booking on Expedia etc. The indoor spa areas and beautiful and very relaxing. Really great hotel but could do better communicating the outdoor pool access when booking."

"Amazing stay. The room we were given was very nice and we had our own private rooftop balcony area that is bigger than the regular balconies shown in pictures. Spa access provided which was nice and the location is good with a good view. Only issue is that shower is very low down and we struggled. I am 5’5 and had to lean over a bit. My boyfriend is over 6ft so was harder for him. Also food we ordered was small portion sizes, not much to the meals so wouldn’t recommend paying fot if it’s your only meal. It tasted nice tho."
