"We didn’t have a car and were told very honestly that Montepulciano was nearly impossible to navigate w/o one, which we appreciated. The local restaurants were incredible and this spot was perfect for our short stay traveling through Italy. "

"Right off the main piazza, renovated, clean, AC, and I upgraded to a room with amazing views. Parking was down a bit further, but in reserved space, so I felt safe leaving the car and didn't need it while I stayed a few days in Montepulciano. Hotel common areas are quite lovely and unique and I learned "Riccio" is hedgehog, so then understood the predominant presence of these cute creatures throughout. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"This place is absolutely stunning and tranquil, with many amenities to enjoy. The spa area is fantastic, and the room was spotless. The staff provided excellent service, and breakfast was simply amazing. I wish I had stayed longer. If I return to Tuscany someday, I would definitely choose to stay here."

"Absolutely beautiful Tuscan hotel that was just a short drive to Montepulciano. Food was fabulous, pool was enjoyable and views were breathtaking. We missed the turn coming in, the manager saw us and guided us back to the property, and that was just the beginning of his wonderful hospitality. He had a dinner table out in the garden set for us each night, and even delivered drinks to us down at the pool. Already trying to plan a trip back!"

"If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on! The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy. Walkable to everything in Montepulciano. I could not overstate how wonderful this bed and breakfast is - RUN, don’t walk to make your reservation here. Two nights was not enough!"
