Clean apartment, every day asked if we need clean towels or any hygienic supplies. Cost for food in local store and in restaurants is reasonable . "Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"The appartment was ok, clean and equipped with basics - no problem though. However, there is no point to pay extra money to stay in this camp - there is nothing special, pretty boring place (even in the evening). The beach is not worth to stay and we rather went to different much nicer surrounding beaches near Umag each day of our stay. I would not consider it next time at all. Alen was a very welcoming host and made sure we were very comfortable - arrived to find a gorgeous homemade fruit tart in the fridge, along with some other treats! Accommodation very clean and spacious with excellent aircon in all rooms. Kitchen and BBQ area fully equipped with everything you'd need to self-cater. "The hotel was located outside of the main tourist area but was a very easy walk from it. The apartment living space was large but the kitchen was small if one had the intention to actually cook in it. However for coffee, use of a refrigerator and a light breakfast, it was fine. I appreciated the washer at this point on our trip and it worked well. Parking was about a 10 minute walk away on mostly flat ground. The Pri Mari restaurant next door was very good. "

"The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja."

"Very relaxing home in a village east of Porec. We had a wonderful time visiting Novigrad and Porec, which are within 10-30 minutes away and have a LOT to see/eat/do. The home itself was quiet and lovely. A/C worked great, all basic necessities were there, beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet and dark at night. " Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!"
