"Absolutely beautiful resort in a picturesque location on the Ionian Sea. Highly recommend this for a relaxing stay!"

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"Nice hotel with a lovely pool overlooking the sea. Very friendly staff; they upgraded us to a bigger room for our group of four adults without us requesting it. The hotel is a bit old but clean and well-maintained. It is within walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches in Puglia, just a 15-minute walk away. "Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling...

"Great service. Excellent breakfast and convenient location. Bed comfortable and nice showers. Rooms are tired and dated and need some TLC. Balcony door was difficult to close and security blind almost hit my wife when it came down unexpectedly. Chair cushions faded and old in room. "

"The property is well maintained and extremely clean. Be sure to have the room cleaned as they have some night critters. Would be great that at time of arrival more information about activities that take place, like horse riding. The breakfast is $10 Eu per person which I think is a bit too much and they require a swimming cap for pool use. The sell them if you want to use the pool. "

"Too strict about check out. Hotel was half empty and still couldn't check out later... Everything else was ok"

"Siamo appena tornati da 4 giorni ,che dire la struttura merita,piscina pulitissima,una pace assoluta, camera altrettanto pulita e poi che dire una colazione varia con dolci squisiti ,un punto a favore per i pasticciotti sempre freschi e la cena abbondante con piatti molto buoni.Camerieri simpaticissimi come tutto il personale della reception e anche un merito alle donne delle pulizie.Se un giorno mi ricapiterà di venire sicuramente scegliero'voi."

"Our room/bed, pool, bountiful buffet and staff were the highlights of this hotel. We did visit the spa and steam room on our last stay, the spa was a little run down and wouldn’t pay for this if we stay again. The service for the spa was odd as we weren’t sure what we were doing and were left to find where it is and what to do with no help. "

Plan Carefully

"My first impressions were that this is a well- appointed and sophisticated resort. The design is beautiful, but be aware that the entire resort is terraced off into multiple levels, so there is lots of stairs. However, there are some strategically located elevators for those that have trouble navigating flights of stairs. My stay was during the first weekend of October 2024 and little did I know, that this is already considered the “off-season“. While that means more affordable lodging rates, it also means a muted vibe and a reduced level of services I’d expect in a 4-star resort. Moreover, the resort is situated outside of town and a visit to the seafront, restaurants , and shops meant a 15 to 20 minute walk. While the resort does have a shuttle van, it was not in operation to transport guests to/from the seafront or the train station (I walked a mile/1.6 km with luggage from the station on check-in day). Uber was not available and no local buses were running in October. The on-site restaurant was mediocre, with the exception of the breakfast which was great! There are 2 tiny bars, but a full-service lounge is needed. But despite these criticisms for the resort as a whole, I must say that ALL of the staff I interacted with during my stay was friendly, professional and accommodating. They exhibited pride in what they did for guests. Overall, I would still recommend a stay here. But be sure to ask a lot of questions about seasonal services before you book or visit. "
