Great place if looking for a stay away from tourist area
The house was nice. The town itself has a couple small bars and restaurants that we checked out. It was easily walkable to the town and close enough to get into the Florence area. We did wish there was more soap and shampoo on the bathrooms and if the beds could have been made. Otherwise beautifysetting and a gracious owner who always responded quickly to any question we had.

A Charming Apartment
Our family of nine was entranced by the old-world authenticity of this apartment, yet with the modern amenities we all want. The town was small and easily walkable to good restaurants, with a good coffee shop practically next door. Bruno was an attentive host, and his communication with you prior to checking in was thorough. Would stay here again.

Wonderful
Villa is spacious, courtyards intimate, lots of things to discover in the walls, remnants of original decorating, pottery, little nooks. Views are spectacular and located near city center. We enjoyed going for cafe every morning. Several spots to choose from. We were there for a month and it was easy to get to train station to travel to Rome and Venice. Lots of quaint towns to drive to also. The host Bruno was very easy to contact and replied quickly.

Excellent stay in a local village
Our stay was exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations. A beautifully renovated/restored villa with all the facilities you could need and it was terrific to have space after a spate of living out of hotel rooms. Walking distance to everything that is needed and a great opportunity to practice speaking Italian. Highly recommend this accommodation. Bruno is fabulous and incredibly helpful and responsive.

Wonderful base for our Tuscany visit
Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at Bruno's place in Montespertoli. It's larger than it looks in the pictures and that view is heavenly! It was nice to have the option of 2 kitchens and there were plenty of bathrooms. Thank you Bruno! You were a wonderful host!

A lovely stay in a great villa
A really nice property in a great location close to some super little restaurants. Very helpful having a garage and the plunge pool came in handy in the July heat!! Worked well having two living areas given we had my parents with us. Bruno very helpful and quick to respond to any queries; a charming host! Lovely views over the valley.

The surrounding community has everything you would every want, in a down to earth and welcoming way. Cute villa!
The villa was a fantastic place to stay with a large group. We had 11 guests and enjoyed the outdoor dining area and living room to gather. The kitchen was good size and easily accommodate enough food. The small local village was welcoming. We took the bus to Florence - a short few minutes walk from the villa. We also visited the winery just down the street and enjoyed a tour and wine tasting. Bruno was very responsive to emails during our stay.

Great Tuscany location
The location of the apartment was amazing. It is located right in the middle of the first piazza in the middle of town. Everything is steps away from the front door. The apartment has a garage that is very helpful if you have a car. Not only is it great to walk around town, but the location is close enough to make a day trip into Florence. Also, there’s a restaurant down the hill that you can’t miss. It’s called “Osteria Del Molino”.

Great house, great location, great host!
We loved the feel of this old house with modern conveniences; perfect for the whole family size wise. We loved walking down to Bar Pasticceria Fiorentina Caterina in the morning for yummy patries and cafe latte’s. We frequented many of the restaurants here and did not have a bad meal. We walked to the market and butcher shop to grill at the villa. There were several activities in the piazza during our three week stay. Perfect location for day trips all through Tuscany. Most touching, my husband got sick and Bruno messaged me every day to check on him. ❤️

Language Dust containers
Overall we had a good time. Only a small point of attention for international guests who not speak your language try to offer all instructions in English ass well special if you request to do things in the dust container. For me it was difficult to select the good one

Home Away From Home
Remarkable combination of the old and the new. The villa had all the modern conveniences set in a centuries-old structure. There were five of us staying for a week. A family group of three generations. Two grandparents, two parents, and our 16-year old granddaughter. There was plenty of room and bathrooms for all. We had comfy beds and crisp linens. Closet space is at a premium, but we managed. The villa is located in a delightful small town and we felt like locals. We shopped at the supermarket that had mouth-watering offerings of everything! We also enjoyed delicious meals in restaurants we could walk to. And, of course, there was gelato! We had a car and used the villa as a home base to explore Florence, Pisa, Volterra, and some wineries. It was so comforting to know we were coming "home" at the end of our journeys. We enjoyed a memorable week in this extraordinary venue. Grazie to our host, Bruno.

Tuscan Treasure
If you plan to do day trips to Florence, Sienna or other areas in Tuscany, this is the place to stay. It is hard to imagine finding a better place to stay. Bruno is helpful and responsive. The house is clean. It is better than the listing photos. It’s really amazing. Montespertoli is a welcoming town with all of the basics you need - walk 1 minute to dinner or grocery shop and enjoy the amazing house. Jack’s bar is a fun stop! When our group of 10 was sharing overall trip highlights from all that we visited in Tuscany and Rome, this beautiful house was a highlight. Thank you, Bruno!
