Wonderful pivotal accomodation to discover the Toscany

+ toscany-alike setting within hills, forests and wineyards + interesting building, many ways and rooms to be discovered by the children + nice swimming pool to relax in the afternoon + restaurant with wonderful view + newly modernized room + flexible check-out, minor extra costs - many mosquitos, no mosquito nets at the windows, rooms quite hot - not so many restaurants/super markets, ... in the proximity o breakfast service would be nice

This was a dream stay. I traveled with my husband and our four kids. We all loved it. My teens loved all the photo opps in a castle surrounding by such beauty. My younger kids were mesmerized by the castle and couldn't get enough of the pool. My husband and I loved it all. The cafe was a treat. Best cappuccinos in Italy and the sweetest girl who runs it. There is just enough options for breakfast to not have to go into town. The room itself was VERY SPACIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. We went in early August, so it was a bit warm, but there are fans. SUCH A DELIGHTFUL STAY.

Worst accommodation in Florence no AC extremely hot inside

Worst accommodation and service I ever had in my life. We just came in July with 40C and there is no aC in the apartment. The apartment keeps the heat and makes even hotter. I am 6 months pregnant and have a 2y child in the apartment and when I complain the the property they said I should be the one who had know when they do not have written ac when you book its because they dont have. It was not written anywhere when I made the booking it was no AC They say there is wifi but its a lie. The wifi only work in the reception. We came here for vacation and we could not enjoy since we were dying inside the apartment The property just offer fans. 3 fans and they said should be enough. Really?? The property told me i could open the windows to refresh and then i got 1000 mosquitos bites. They don’t care about the customers just take money from the fake ad reservation they offer. Basically they said is my problem and I should be the one who had know there was no AC. Do not loose your money and vacation.

Alles sehr sauber und geschmackvoll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente ist unschlagbar. Die Küche war allerdings sehr dürftig ausgestattet, ein Küchenmesser im Gepäck ist hilfreich

schönes Appartement mit Abstrichen

Unsere Bewertung bezieht sich auf das Appartement 27. Leider kein Aufenthalt zur Entspannung. pro: tolles, modernes und sehr sauberes Appartement sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal tolles historisches Gebäude sehr gutes Restaurant cons: Lage eines Schlafzimmers direkt über dem Restaurant. Teilweise große Reisgruppen aus Übersee die sehr laut sind. Abends war oft bis spät Abends viel Lärm. Moskitonetze und Klimanlagen fehlen. Erstausstattung für die Küche (Spülmittel, Schwamm, Salz, Pfeffer, etc) ist nicht vorhanden. Pool und Poolbereich war stark überfüllt und für die Anlage zu klein. Trotz schönem Garten gibt es wenig Schatten Schloß kann nicht besichtigt werden.

Chateau typiquement florentin avec agréable piscine 7m sur 15m

Séjour (15j) dans appartement spacieux du château, traversant cour/jardin. Manque la climatisation (plus de 30°C) le soir à l'intérieur, manque les moustiquaires, cafetière, vaisselle sommaire dans kitchenette basique. Pourrait améliorer service de renseignement des choses à voir dans la région. Restaurant: service très bien, qualité de la nourriture médiocre.

SO AMAZING

Excellentes vacances à Montegufoni, cadre somptueux, cohabitation harmonieuse avec les autres hôtes des lieux, accueil agréable, belle piscine. On recommande chaudement. Seul hic, le logement sous les toits était très chaud (pas de ventilateur) et l'équipement (vaisselle) un peu court.

We stayed at Castello di Montegufoni 4-11 July 2011. Everyone there was amazingly friendly and helpful! The reception folks gave excellent advice and were a great help on where to go, what to see, and how to get there -- they are real experts on the area. They were so very nice our entire stay, and they even loaned us 2 fans for use while we were there. The chef in their restaurant made us really feel like family. He came out to greet the guests every night. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary there and he really made the celebration dinner special! About the only complaint I can think of is no air conditioning, and bring bug spray since you'll have to leave the windows open at night. In all, Montegufoni is beyond beautiful with an incredible location that's central to all of Tuscany! I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone!
