"The staff werre very friendly & helped out all our queries re how to get to places snd get about the city. Also it has a nice roof top bar which looks out onto the older Roman ruins and sights, there's also a restaurant but we didnt eat in the hotel & it looked like it was not frequented by too many hotel guests. It's very close to the sights & they're all within walking distance and restaurants & bars are in the area with several tips from the hotel staff on which ones to go to."

"We had problems with hot water. Only one person could have a quick shower becouse after 1 minutte cold water started to run. We were not happy about unexpected fee for Rome city taxes. There was no information about it and receptionist could speak few words in english. Breakfast was good, but absolutely the same every morning.."

"Located very close to the Colosseum, Santa Maria Church and train station. Room was very clean and tidy. Hotel is up 5 flights of stairs or there is a small lift. Had troubles with hot water but I think it was under maintenance."

"We had a great time at Cesare Balbo Inn. Luca was incredibly warm and helpful - taking his time to make sure we were fully situated and give suggestions for our trip in Rome. After some poor experiences with the staff is another hotel in Milan, this was so refreshing. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. "Excellent room and location for seeing the sights and the history in Rome. The room would have been perfect for just me and my wife. But we took our adult kids. The layout was fine for us. But the room needed the bathroom separation wall replaced. The temporary fix was an accordion type wall. It worked. But it was always in the way and it didn’t make it as private as we desired for taking a shower or going to the restroom. I would pick this Team and hotel again. But, I would work with the great Staff on what my family would have been more comfortable with. I would recommend to venture away from the hotel for restaurants at times. It seamed to me all the local restaurants had the same distributors for the red sauces. Wanted to experience more variety."
