Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open - it was not noted on the website about being closed over winter. "We booked this hotel at the last moment on our way back home. What a fantastic place. The level of service was some of the best we had seen for ages. The quality of food deserves a Mechlin star or two. In particular, and I’m guessing he was the head waiter helped us both with the menu without being condescending. His suggestions were spot on. Yes it is a little expensive but you get what you pay for and much more. "

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The area is very picturesque. The host was the friendliest lady you could ask for. We were given a full tour of the accomodation and shown how things worked.
