Very clean, safe and friendly. The staff were great and the location is fantastic. I definitely recommend staying for anyone visiting that would like to explore old Montreal as this location was very convenient.
It is cheap and cheerful. The shared bath rooms were nearly hospital clean. The staff was kind, helpful, and cheerful at all hours. The rooms are Spartan, but the bed was very comfy, the heat worked well, and the frig was cold. For the price, it was perfect.

The room was spacious and clean and comfy . The location is great! Easy Check in and helpful staff. Very clean .
The bathroom is shared , but it was usually available and clean at all times.
The only downside is noise from other rooms, there isn`t a good sound isolation I guess.
Also, the room was a bit cold and when I arrived , I turned on the heating. Because of the high ceiling my room did not get warm . I had to stay under the blanket to keep warm during my stay.
We stayed for their opening weekend and really enjoyed it! The location was great and the staff were incredible.

There is no sound proofing between floors with the exposed floorboards on the ceiling. People partying above us all night and no overnight front desk to go to. If you want to party loudly all night this is the place for you; if you want to sleep, maybe not. Also, I never received the check-in information so I had to wait in -20 outside for another guest to let me in to talk to the front desk - code on the front door but no buzzer. They wanted to charge an extra $20 for a expended check out. Expedia states 11am check out but the staff said 10am. When I told them about the noise, they didn't charge me. Having said this, it was very clean with a comfortable bed and great linens.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it was supplied with the basics. Staff were polite and helpful, friendly if engaged with. It was a little disconcerting to have to use one of the two bathrooms directly in front of a staffed reception desk but the shower was excellent and other amenities fine. A pity there was only rudimental kitchen facilities and no public areas to speak of but maybe the situation is different in the summer. A quirky building, pleasantly industrial but with a surprise chandelier. The dimensions of our room were such that we felt we were sleeping in a cereal box but this was due to the immense height of the room, it was perfectly adequate in size. Reasonably good location.
Staff was really nice and welcoming and very accommodating when we asked to leave our bags before and after checkout. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet but felt safe. The only things to keep in mind are that there is no nearby metro station but that’s not the property’s fault. Also there was no hand towels in the bathroom which was weird. But overall great property and I’d come again.
I had a very nice stay here.
The location is great — it’s easy to get everywhere using public transportation. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful.
I have just one suggestion: the soundproofing could be improved. My neighbors were quite noisy at midnight, so it might be helpful to remind guests to be considerate of noise in the rooms.
This was my second time staying at this place and I love it. It definitely will continue to be my go to place when visiting Montreal. The staff as well were absolutely amazing especially this time around when we came into a little inconvenience they completely upgraded our room. My partner and I enjoyed our stay as always and will definitely be back!

Great spot to stay if you’re looking for somewhere to rest and drop your bags. Turn on a fan or use white noise on Spotify to block out any noise from other rooms. Had a heat overnight stay while in town, staff were extremely welcoming.
No AC , no bathroom or even toilet attach , no elevator…worst they took 100$ for ine night and no service at all even no parking near by you have to 1km for parking and also you have to pay $20 for that so better invest 120-130$ in good hotel with all this facilities

There was only one bathroom available for the entire floor (single combined toilet and shower) which was very inconvenient. It’s also worth highlighting that most of the rooms do not have AC which for Montreal in the summer made things very uncomfortable. Rooms are not very soundproof which is something to consider. Other than that rooms were basic but clean and location was good.

The room was very clean spacious and beautiful. The stairs and floors leading up to the room however had just been freshly painted and they smelled strongly of chemicals, but the room itself did not. I had a great time and I would love to go back! Cannot beat the price.
A beautiful area with plenty of great spots for dining and shopping, all within easy walking or biking distance. The building is in a perfect location, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming
Stay clear of this place by all means!!! The Ceilings leak, our bed was broken, the ac was broken. And there was an infestation of Bees inside the room. My wife was stung multiple times and they refused to give us a refund. Take your money some place else!!!
