"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."

"Superbly clean and well presented, perfectly situated for exploring the region. Located among among vinyards yet within a couple of kilometres of all the amenities you might require. Madame Vannier is a perfect host."

"Good situation on the edge of village. Lovely neighbours in adjoining gite. Internet signal not very good - had to wait sometimes for more than an hour to have a signal. Unfortunately did not meet our host at all. Welcomed by a lovely local lady who took care of us very well."

"What a fantastic relaxing holiday with walks and a boat trip along the Cher and Loire rivers, and visiting the wonderful town of Amboise. The whole area is alive with dragonflies, butterflies and birds. The house is just a short walk from the river Cher with restaurants and bars close to the river. The house was perfect for what we needed with a well-situated patio with table and chairs to enjoy the warm summer evenings. Our hosts were so welcoming and Didier took us to see his bee hives and...

"The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

"Peace and quiet assured in this cottage, clean and well equipped. Perfectly situated to visit Beauval Zoo. Keepers of the keys, at local vineyard, extemely helpful and have good wine on sale. Check with owner on electricity surcharge before booking."

Many activities are within an hour drive. The property is very quite and secluded, ideal for a get away. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back."

"Beautiful accommodation and surroundings.our boys enjoyed jumping in the swim pool after a long journey. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. We went out for dinner and returned around 9.30pm and the bar area was closed. It looked lovely and would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink."

"Everything was good, except the hotel was understaffed. There was only one person there, and he was working very hard, cheerfully, with a great attitude. But for a sizable tourist crowd, they need more than one person. The front desk was supposed to be open at 8 AM. But no one answered the phone and nobody was physically there until about 4 PM."
