"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The location of this hotel is perfect. The people are fabulous and friendly. We did not use any of the spa services so we can't speak to that, but the location is ideal and walkable to everything. Easy trips from here to the Normandy beaches / area. We would stay here again time and again when visiting Bayeux...this was about as close to perfect as one can hope."

Wonderful Stay

"This is a really nice chateau. The road leading up to the parking is a bit bumpy, but manageable. The hotel is really clean and beautiful. The staff were very nice as well. We enjoyed our room. It was spacious and comfortable. We loved there was a fan in our room and the soaker tub was really nice. We stayed two nights and we thought it was a really great place to stay. It was in a quiet area which we very much appreciated. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night. We both ordered the sea bass with mashed potatoes. The food was good, but it wasn’t memorable. The escargot was very good though, we enjoyed that the most. Overall we highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location to explore the area. "

"We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town. "
