I always stay here when visiting Moorefield to float the Trough.Clean hotel in a quiet rural setting. Prices are a little high due to no other hotels in the area, but staff was nice as usual. Also, hotel going through some upgrades, so looking forward to that!

Same good quality as before, and newly renovated!

Our stay was really good! We have stayed here before and the customer service at the front desk is lovely. They explain all the things you'll need to know. They have renovated since we were last here and the results are noticeable, in the furniture, beds, lighting.

Rude staff and very poor room conditions. I wish I'd spent more to rent a house closer to the state park instead of staying here.

The king bed room was absolutely the cleanest and spacious setting for a family owned property. The cherry furniture with microwave and refrigerator inside was extraordinary. So private and although highway 48 is close…we didn’t hear any cars or trucks!! I loved taking a hot bath also!! Views of the mountains are inspiring and breakfast was substantial….variety and convenient. We’ll return!

I stayed at South Branch Inn Moorefield on 1/18 during our ski trip to Timberline Resort and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was provided. They also offered Timberline Resort ski tickets for $15 per person less than the original price. The staff was friendly and helpful making our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend. I noticed the BBQ restaurant next to the building is expected to open soon.

We stayed at this inn for one night in August 2024. Property was recently renovated, so we could still smell the paint. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable just a little small. The beds were double instead of queen They had nice breakfast - frozen egg/sausage sandwiches (which can be heated in the microwave), bread, muffins, and cereal There are lots of places around the property to order food. There is also a walmart nearby.
