"Beautiful peaceful location set in the mountains and overlooking the ocean with breathtaking views. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful too. My only criticism is it could have done with a good clean and good airing and updated bed linen and to have had a maid to at least change to towels. We also couldn’t find the outside bins and recycling so clear instructions would help but apart from that it was perfect."

The location is in Baia del Carpino, with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Because we stayed off-season, some shops and restaurants in the area were closed, but everything you need is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at Massimiliano's home for 6 weeks. This property is everything that is described and more. Massimiliano was extremely helpful in every way and reached out to local restaurants for reservations for us. The back yard was so relaxing especially with a glass of homemade red that Massimiliano provided for us. Thank you Massimiliano for making this an epic trip."

"The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided."

"Really nice modern apartment in an ancient building. Comfortable queen bed, nice bathrooms, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea that's perfect for a sunset glass of wine. There are several excellent restaurants and bars less than two minutes' walk from the property, and a handful more within 5 minutes' drive. One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues, you will have difficulty getting up the lengthy exterior steps and the interior spiral staircase between floors. We found it...

"We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "

"What a joke. They advertise all these wonderful amenities and when we arrived there was absolutely nothing available. No spa, no beach, no tennis, no laundry facilities, no hair salon. We would never have stayed here if we had know. When we complained they offered us a free drink! I have complained through the hotel and the refuse to respond and tried to get a refund from Expedia with no luck. Don't go to this hotel if you are expecting lots to do.....there is nothing!"
