"The property I stayed in, " a sea view apartment", No 11, looked directly over the new larger harbour of Monopoli and was adjacent to the castle tower. . The Xmas and New year decorations were still up and the whole area seemed to be decorated in the "old historic centre". Breakfast was very good. "Great place to stay. I would lean more towards not staying there in the winter months, however i bet it is absolutely gorgeous the other three. The owner and caretaker helped with the hiccups through the heat and hot water not working. Beautiful Trulli. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this country trulli is for you. You will definitely need a car if you are staying here. Taxi service is very expensive. "

"The We had a good experience with the stay however I didn’t realise (my own fault for not reading the listing properly) that you have to pay an additional fee for the spa and sauna use. We did pay an additional fee per person, per day which we thought was pretty expensive and on the second day we paid the spa was cold so we couldn’t really use it. Apart from this the property was beautiful and big for the kids to run around."

"We had a fantastic stay at the villa, it was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor area with the pool, dining area and bbq were lovely and the huge gardens were beautiful. "Beautiful property in the country. A small car is needed to access it. We stayed end of season & trulli was a bit cool/damp - heating’s an extra charge. Hot water worked intermittently in shower -it couldn’t be repaired during our 5 day stay. "The trulli are beautifully finished with everything you could need. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation. The location in the countryside is breathtaking. The pool, grounds and inside of the trulli are perfect. The hosts went above and beyond. We had a flat tire about 20 minutes from the trulli and she helped arrange the tow and tire change and picked us up from the roadside. "

Forget about using the pool & outdoor space because the amount of insects is unreal. There’s no repellant or sections with nets to help the situation. "This is a lovely hotel, beautifully renovated. I was very impressed. My room was large and comfy with amazingly high ceilings. The staff were helpful and friendly. This hotel is at the heart of Monopoli in the best position on the central square in the old town. The sea is one minute away. "

"This property deserves a big thumbs up. Cave rooms were very well designed with a lot of attention to detail (lights, candles, custom shower gels). Breakfast was one of the best I had recently with a lot of local cheese and fruits instead of banal buffet items. Ricotta was simply amazing. Staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. The only recommendation I would give is that since each room is unique I would put each room and its images separately instead of room category. "
