"We absolutely loved this hotel - my kids want to move here now. Friendly staff, beautiful property (rooms, common areas looked like they should be in a magazine), lovely and fun pool and hot tub area that a lot of people enjoyed of all ages, large rooms with plenty of space to relax, fantastic breakfast buffet (fresh honey, lots of egg / meat / baked sweets options, juices, fresh fruit galore, etc.) It's at the top of a hill so not right in Taupo, but that worked out even better - it's very quiet and just a short drive or brisk walk down to town. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. Views in all directions were very nice (we had a view of a canyon/park). It's safe, relaxing and felt like fantastic value-for-money given the superior service and offerings of the hotel. Everything was in great condition in the room and hotel. "
