"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."

"Das Haus ist sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen. Der Ort ist sehr klein, aber man direkt von dort zu schönen Spaziergängen starten. Der nächste Bäcker mit leckerem Brot und Croissants ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - in Nuars. Abel hat uns herzlichen in Empfang genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns auch Honig vom ortsansässigen Imker besorgt - sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es in der Nähe (ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto) einen schönen Badesee, der nicht zu überlaufen...

"We absolutely loved this house . The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . "Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay. Only negative is the outside of the apartment, which is not pretty and has no view. Turin Shroud!!!!ne. "

"The on-site manager clearly goes all out to make this location perfect. It is spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the laundry room is a big plus. A few minutes from Vezelay by car, the area is pastoral. What a find!"
