Located within walking distance to East Zion Trails and adjacent to the Ponderosa Ranch Resort, you'll have access to resort amenities for additional fees, while still enjoying the privacy and seclusion of your own retreat. With the East entrance of Zion just 20 minutes away, Bryce Canyon only 90 minutes away, and the Grand Canyon North Rim a mere 2.5 hours away, this cabin is perfectly situated for exploring the natural wonders of the area.
The Live Simply cabin, located on the East Rim of Zion, offers a unique glamping experience. This custom-built tiny cabin sits on three lots within walking distance of Zion, providing ample space and a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Immerse yourself in beautiful starry skies, cool evenings, and the majestic presence of tall ponderosa pines.
Inside the cabin, you'll find a comfortable king-size bed, a leather couch, and a bistro table for two. A small TV/DVD combo is also provided for your entertainment after a long day of hiking. Cooking takes place in the outdoor kitchen area, equipped with a gas grill. The Covered gazebo offers a cozy seating area, an outdoor sink, and a small mini-fridge. Enjoy your meals at the nearby picnic table, or relax on the large deck with its inviting sitting area, perfect for reading a good book or immersing yourself in nature's tranquility. For those nostalgic moments, gather around the fire pit and indulge in s'mores while reminiscing about your day's adventures.
The separate private bath house, located just 20 ft. from the cabin, features a vanity, toilet, and shower. Please note that hot water is limited as it is heated by a small electric water heater.
As water is precious in the high-desert, the cabin has a limited water supply filled from a well. While the cabin water supply is safe for all uses, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking purposes to ensure you stay hydrated during your desert stay.
The cabin is centrally located in Southwest Utah, making it an ideal base for exploring the region's incredible sights. From Zion National Park, which borders the cabin, to Bryce Canyon National Park (75 minutes away) and the Grand Canyon National Park (120 minutes away), you'll have endless opportunities for canyoneering, hiking, biking, sightseeing, and 4-wheeling adventures. Take your time to enjoy other nearby attractions such as Pipe Spring National Monument, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Grand Staircase National Monument, Gold Butte National Monument, Red Cliffs Recreation, Kanarraville Falls, and Lake Powell.
During the winter months, please note that the weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicles. The cabin is located on a well-maintained dirt road, but in winter, a 4WD vehicle with good ground clearance and chains is essential.
