"The property itself is PERFECT for a couples getaway or a solo vacation. I truly enjoyed the time to relax & reset. My only issue when booking with VRBO you don't realize some of the "normal" things you find in rental properties were not there until you get there. I've booked with rental properties and there has always been seasonings left in the kitchen (at least salt & pepper). The only other issues is the cleaning requirements....sweeping & mopping the floor definitely was a bit much since...

If we were to offer some feedback, the outdoor grill and chairs by the firepits were pretty dusty and had cobwebs all over them (I realized cobwebs can form overnight) Also, past sunset, whenever we tried to go in and out of the property, all sorts of moths/bugs would be attracted to the light inside and fly inside the door (we tried to open/close as quickly as possible). We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. However I would say the place needs some work and the owner should put some money back into it. The directv barely works and the internet is non existent but we made due without it. "We loved our stay at the Cliffside Cabin. Property was well-maintained, cabin was pretty clean, and awesome that there was river access a short distance from the cabin. The river access area is definitely swimmable too, which was a huge benefit especially given the hot temps we had. The porch overlooking the River was definitely the best part of our stay.
