Quiet Calm Tranquility
What an amazing stay! The natural beauty of this house and surroundings is magnificent. We loved the charm of the house and how the owners stayed true to the original design of the old house while adding new modern bathrooms and furnishings. The grandeur of the views in the living room and kitchen takes one’s breath away at the wonder of Gods creation. We loved the quiet peaceful neighborhood and were thankful for the beach so the kids could find unique shells and many fun sea life.

Big Extended Family Trip
This house worked really well for our extended family of parents and three children and their younger families with kids as young as 8 months. The Nest had all the accommodations we needed to be comfortable as a group. We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks from the public beach and various hikes in the area as well.

So so fun and a great house with lots of space and room for girls to hang out and have a great time! Perfect spot for our family
Our family came together from several different states which included Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Montana. We were celebrating the lives of the patriarch and matriarch of our family and interring them in their final resting place. The Nest was such a great place to stay together. Beautiful House, Peaceful Location
Recently had a family vacation at this beautiful, well appointed home on the water. Comfortably slept 5 adults and 2 children. Beautifully furnished with fresh clean bed coverings. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked with extra condiments, bathrooms had extra toiletries as well! We loved sitting on the porch morning, noon and night watching the tide come and go! Access to the beach was easy to find and very nice. The only disappointing thing was that we had to leave! Thoroughly enjoyed this home!

The Great escape
Walking into your home and being able to stand at your expansive walls of windows - the views of the water and islands are phenomenal!!! The interiors are earthtones, which reflects the beauty from the inside out. As far as bedding and linens, I slept so well- very comfortable and warm. Overall...A beautiful home, with everything you need to enjoy and relax . Well equipped, quiet, and just a few minutes away from town. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Beautiful Setting
This is a wonderful property. The view is fabulous and it’s so relaxing to sit on the deck and take in the scenery. We saw an eagle , which landed on the tree next to the house and gave us a goodmorning welcome. We also saw osprey, oyster catchers and lots of other sea life. The house is close to La Conner for shopping and we had a nice walk at Padilla Bay. This time of year going to Gordon’s farm is a must. I have never seen so many different kinds of pumpkins, gourds and squash. The house is well appointed with plenty of dishes and lots of extras, like shampoo, soaps, coffee, etc. There was even a lovely rose bouquet on the table. I would recommend this to others.

Great family getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay at The Nest! The Nest is a great mixture of modern updates and rustic charm. We cooked breakfast and dinner at home every day, and we were pleased to find good (and clean!) kitchen supplies. The communication w the property management was flawless. Thank you! We appreciated the assortment of local goodies provided to us. I think we consumed them all! Lol!!! Our first day was a sunny day, and we walked on the ferry to Friday Harbor. Our second day was a downpour, and we stayed at the house. We went for lunch at La Conner , Brewery, but went right back to the house. Perfectly fine to sit in the kitchen or the front room to enjoy the beautiful view. The third day we walked around in downtown La Conner. I would highly recommend a stay at The Nest.
