"Its always nice returning back staying 4 nights in Leisure inn Spires Leura close to the train station over the road and shops and cafe's down the road walking distance is great but iv found that the staff members at Reception on Checking in to be cheeky and fed up when asking for more tea coffee and Bin liners so felt like i couldn't go back and ask for more things i needed. My room was nice and clean i was given room 6 on the ground floor of the Lawson apartment block the only problem pswas...

"We had a lovely 4 day stay at the end of October, we loved the cottage, location and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable, the only thing missing was a place to hang our cloths, we didn't let this spoil our stay but we would have liked to have seen a wardrobe and drawers ( the wardrobe in the adverting photo isn't there ad it has been replaced by a TV ). "My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights whilst having a little holiday away from Sydney. The property was lovely and clean, beautifully decorated, and so warm and cosy on those cold nights. "Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "

"We enjoyed staying at Orchard Cottage. Please should be aware however of noise from the highway and trains. If people do not like night time noise they should consider something else. Whilst there was a lot of crockery to use, a lot of it was chipped, so I would suggest to the owner to renew the crockery. "Motel is in easy walking distance to all local shops and is located on the main street. We walked to Echo Point lookout, where the three sisters are, and it took us 20min. The Katoomba RSL is within a 10 min walk and has amazing meals. Highly recommend this motel."
