"Beautiful room! Gorgeous views. Last minute booking, and was pleasantly surprised how great it was. Very spacious, the continental breakfast was an added bonus very much well received not having had a chance to stop anywhere after leaving Casino where we left after the truck show. The bed was HEAVEN! Like a cloud! Was gorgeous to sleep in. We're already planning to come back here next yr and come earlier to take advantage of the pool and grounds to explore. "The property was very beautiful. There was one bedroom downstairs which had very bad damp smell so we could not use the bedroom. The pool was unuseable as it was not covered and full of small insects. There was one fry pan which was rusted. So small issues. The contact people Deb and Sarah were very good"

"We had a reunion of 5 girlfriends from University. Byron Brae was the perfect venue. It is hard finding a place that accommodates 5 adults without someone sleeping in a bunk or sharing a bed! Byron Brae was the perfect find - 5 double/queen beds, 3 bathrooms and a gorgeous living area. The pool and cabana house were an added bonus. We will be back"

"We had a lovely stay at Sweetwater cottage, perfect place to come back to after a day cycling the Northern Rivers Rail trail and have a glass of wine by the cosy fireplace. The cottage is quaint with a big deck and lovely vista of rainforest and sound of nearby creek. It's very private. Sweetwater cottage is close to Moorbal which has the only bike hire place on the bike trail that rent normal bikes not eBikes"

"Cottage was lovely with a homely feel. Property was clean and had everything we needed including books and jig saw puzzles for the rainy weather we encountered. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit due to the rain. But will happily head back for another weekend away to get the full experience. Also loved meeting Brad and Darcy. Robin is a wonderful, friendly host and nothing is too much trouble for her. Loved the little personal touches like the jam, milk, slices of raison toast we found...

"Very personal and helpful hosts. Wonderful B&B with everything needed for stress free holiday. We rented entire 4 bedroom guest house. Lots of nice foods supplied and Christmas choccies and decorations. Comfy beds and warm atmosphere. We were trapped for extra day by road closures due to flooding and Veriest the manager went out of her way to gift us food supplies. Highly recommended B&B."

"I was looking for a cute home to stay in for the week to use as our home base to come back to from our little day trips and it was perfect! The Old Shop was minimalist and clean and you could tell a lot of thought and love went into every detail of creating this little home. Courtney was a great host and happy to help us with anything we needed, responding to messages so quickly. I will defs be back to experience the Old Shop in winter!"
