"We stayed at The ring farmhouse for a wedding, it was a quiet and peaceful location. Carmel looked after us well, particularly at breakfast and even saved the day by lending us an iron. "It was a last minute booking for me. Ended up in a slice of Irish Heaven. The B&B caters to many. There are many places to visit in nearby areas. But, if you are looking to ride this is the place to come! The breakfast was delish! Charollet and Sam were so sweet and welcomed you as a friend. Great family atmosphere. Some of the other guests were ther to train with their horse. I had 2 lessons . One in the ring with Naive, and the 2nd cross country lesson was amazing with Patrick. They both...

A gardener's cottage tucked away in the corner of an old country house estate.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (11)
"I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. I enjoyed interacting with the other guests and the host over...

Beautiful Cottage Full of Art & Atmosphere

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (37)
"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"
