"The hotel grounds were amazing. The restaurant food was great but the service was spotty …some excellent encounters, but some were not."

"Overall, very good. The location is great. South of Killarney, so if you want to be in the middle of pubs and restaurants and such, this may not be the place for you, but we loved that we could walk to Muckross Abbey, and that we were right by the lake and Torc Waterfall with short drives. They offered free bike rental, which I'd have loved if we had more time. The staff were very friendly. Both the person who checked us in, and the one who checked us out, were super-friendly, and were quick and to the point. The room itself was nice. It was a bit hot when we were there, so a fan would've been nice, but we just cranked the windows wide and that did the job. The two bedroom apartment was great, and relaxing. "

"This place is amazing, great views, fantastic staff, and an adorable town. Not to mention the antique furniture and art placed throughout the hotel.The egg benedict at breakfast was some of the best I've had! Will be coming day but for a longer stay!!"

"absolutely stunning property! the pool was out of this world! there was a slight issue with the AC, but the manager addressed it with me personally and gave me a discount! i was not expecting that and genuinely appreciated it!!! thank you Filip! i will definitely be back. they had excellent recommendations as well. i had the Dough Bros pizza in Galway based on Filips recommendation and it was amazing!!! above and beyond service here, well worth the price and such cool things to see including the Torc waterfall was literally 5 minute drive away. "

"We were so excited for our stay here and it was a great experience start to finish! By far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our road trip around Ireland. The room with the lake view was absolutely incredible. This is a great location for visiting Killarney (very easy to drive to if you have a rental car). Even walking around the grounds is beautiful. It was relaxing & scenic. Our service at the bar at the end of the night was sub-par (slow service + a lot of dirty tables not being cleaned off). The breakfast included was top notch - high quality & great offerings - don't miss breakfast! For US-based travelers though I would caution the 5-star rating as it is a bit different than a 5 star US hotel. It was still clean & very nice with upgraded amenities vs other hotels we stayed at in Ireland, but it a bit dated."
