"Had a lovely one night stay. The surroundings were lovely and lodge was clean with plenty of facilities. Lovely decor and was great sitting outside."

"Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there."

We had deer field for our back garden and we even witnessed a deer give birth just meters away from us on quite morning! They people who run the business are so friendly and helpful. "The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "We checked in a little late but this was not a problem as we called ahead. We found Eagle Lodge with ease. The lodge was clean and everything we could need. However, we did have to purchase air freshener as the lodge had a strong musty smell but it soon disappeared once we had been there for a couple of day'. The kitchen is very compact but more than useable. All rooms are a good size. The furniture is a mish mash. And I think some of it could actually belong in a museum but it was all...

"Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. "Outstanding stay at this Castle. We stayed here in Oct overnight on a 2 week trip thtough Ireland and Scotland and wish we stayed another night.The staff was great and very attentive, our room was very nice amd luxurious, we loved the turn down service. Dinner was fantastic and definitely one of the better dinners on our trip. We went for a few walks around the estate and its gorgeous from the small paths to the stream. I highly recommend staying here, we will come here again if we come back through."
