"Very pleasantly surprised as the photos on the website didn’t do this hotel justice. The grounds, decor and general standard was very high and staff all very professional. Our family room was an excellent size, with 2 bathrooms and a door between sleeping areas. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. "The hotel’s location in the center of the town is excellent. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely ambience, but food is a little expensive. Our room was basicit was the cheapest, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. If we came again, we would bring a hairdryer the one that was there was virtually useless, and the plugs are on the opposite side from the bed so an extension lead would be useful if you want to have the phone charging by your bed.
