Cute house
We stayed here for our anniversary. I would like to note that this is not a riverfront property. There is a street and a house between you and the river. You do have an access point which is very pretty and we did take advantage of. With that being said, the house was cute and perfect for our dog. She absolutely loved being able to run around the fenced in yard and lounging in the screened in porch. The cabin was well stocked and in a nice/safe neighborhood. Owners were very welcoming and responsive. Overall we had a great time!

Such a great spot!!!
We had the best time at this cabin!! The pictures dont do it justice! Yes, the other house blocks some of the river view, but you are so close, it didnt even bother us. The street is so quiet and private as well. Perfect spot for a get away. We hope to return some time!!

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property. We've actually stayed here before. We brought our dog and it was nice to take walks in the scenic area. The property owner was prompt in responding to our request to have the fireplace looked at. Someone came over right away to show us how to use it. It was chilly and we wanted the warmth and romantic setting. Well insulated cabin that has everything you can possibly need. It also has a children's room with plenty of games, if you have kids. The only upgrade I can think of is they need a new set of pots and pans. We like cooking meals to save on money, and there is a well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and glasses, even wine and cocktail glasses, plus baking accessories, but pots and pans were few, and they looked a bit worn, and needing replacement. We used the large steel oversized pot even though it was just the two of us. The other pots looked like they had seen better days. Otherwise, this place is great. The owners thought of everything. There was even pancake mix in the cabinet! And syrup! Would definitely recommend. Dog and kid friendly. Scenic. Patio to sit with your coffee in the morning when it isn't took chilly. People here are also very nice and friendly.

Relaxing along the river
Well appointed property across from the river in a quiet neighborhood. The rocky back yard was difficult on our dog's legs, so plan to go for walks out the front door. Good value and close to John C. Campbell.

Horrible house
Y’all make sure you read carefully. The owner (George) of the cabin is very rude. We arrived on time and once we got there was a bad smell in the cabin. Also it looks like there has not been anyone renting that property. The curtains are stained Don’t let the pictures fool you. We did not stay at this cabin. We ended up leaving that same day so to the bad smell and mold.HORRIBLE experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE.

Very quiet and comfortable
Convenient location, about a mile to JC Campbell Folkschool. The cabin was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The only negative is that the bathroom sink upstairs drains very very slowly.....probably needs some drano or other method to improve a clogged sink.

Relaxing week with husband and two dogs.
This cabin is located on a very quiet street, surrounded by trees. The river is across the street, visible through the trees with access on the owner’s property. Very cozy with screened in porch, gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings. The owners have thought of everything, even a hairdryer in each bathroom! The fenced yard was perfect for our two pups. A perfect getaway in the mountains!

Close to John C Campbell Folk School
Could easily get to the cabin and back for lunch from the John C Campbell Folk School. Nice area next to the river. Nice small quiet neighborhood. I could work using the cabin’s wifi, but it couldn’t handle many devices at once. Hosts quickly responded to communication. Experience was what we expected and we plan to return again in the future.
