"From the moment you pull up in the car at this hotel you realize it will have some challenges. All the spots are taken in front of the hotel at the 1/2 hour parking area nearest the check in and were for our entire three night stay. Instead you need to park in the garage below the building and try and figure out the maze into the hotel with no signage and poor lighting. "Receptionist was the nicest person i think I've ever spoken to ever! Minor issue with a neighbours motion light being on all night the first night (no one was staying there, it was just glitching). We asked about it and they fixed it immediately with so much kindness (I felt bad asking and they were so easy about it). "We enjoyed our stay at Canberra Carotel Motel. I highly recommend this place. The below suggestions are to help make it even better. The stove needs to be replaced as some burners didn’t work and the others weren’t working well. "We had a lovely 2 night stay in a Rosella Cabin. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were on the small size but fine for 2 nights. Everything we needed. Unexpected gem with good bed & kangaroos at fence

"Unexpected gem just off the highway. Lovely big room, great shower - and the best bed and pillows that we experienced during our holiday. Asked the receptionist about seeing kangaroos and she annotated on the wee map that showed the location of our rooms where we would be able to see kangaroos (100% she said). Dropped our bags and went off to the boundary fence where we did indeed see a big mob of kangaroos. "
