Stunning Apartment Style Home w/ 2 Decks directly across from the State Park!

Location and views are as good as it gets in this lovely 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo located directly across from Grand Haven State Park and the sandy beaches on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

On the middle floor, you will enter a spacious living room, open to the dining area, and a beautifully appointed kitchen where you will find a butcher block floating island and top-of-the-line appliances, including a Sub-Zero extra-wide refrigerator, dual-heat Viking oven, convection oven, and vented hood. All of this with a view of Lake Michigan and Grand Haven State Beach! A sliding glass door provides access to a balcony where you can enjoy people-watching and lake views. Two bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen bed, and a full bath with a walk-in shower complete the second floor.

The third floor has twin bunk beds as well as access to a private rooftop deck where you are sure to take in a beautiful sunset or two.

The lower level provides an additional half bath and laundry area.

There isn't a more convenient location when it comes to being close to downtown and the beach. Directly across the street is Grand Haven State Beach, with access to the lighthouse and pier. A sidewalk directly in front of the home will take you on a short 1.5-mile walk to restaurants and shopping.

Parking: The right side of the driveway in front of the garage allows for two vehicles. Garage parking is not available.

This home sleeps 6. All bed linens and bath linens are provided.

EATING

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, including cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. A Keurig coffee maker is provided. The dining table folds out to seat six, with additional seating available outside on the balcony.

THE LOCATION

Located in the heart of Grand Haven, enjoy the quietness of not being right downtown while still being only a short walk to the downtown area. Enjoy the obvious: Grand Haven State Beach is directly across the street without having to fight for parking. You can also take a walk to downtown, close to the boardwalk, shopping, and restaurants. Downtown Grand Haven has plenty to do with mini-golf, marinas, splash pads, parks, and, of course, ice cream!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

100% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee) if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
50% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before the reservation date.
There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

California Beach in Grand Haven
Having grown up in California and later moved to Peoria Illinois, I never realized how nice are the Western Michigan beaches. This place is perfectly situated within view of the beach for an easy walk to the nice sand and warm Summer waters of Lake Michigan. The balcony views are amazing, the kitchen very modern and the place well kept. August

Fantastic stay despite bad weather
The condo more than met our needs. The set up (full bath upstairs and 1/2 downstairs; outdoor shower) and location were perfect for us. Its an easy walk across the street to the beach. We fully enjoyed the space, including both balconies, despite less than stellar beach weather. I would definitely stay again.

Great house for a beach vacation
This is a great rental with a location and view that can’t be beat! Unit has a brand new kitchen with high end appliances and two balconies both overlooking Lake Michigan. The public beach is steps from the front door and the shops and restaurants in town are a 15/20 minute walk along the water. You are renting one unit of a duplex and the owners live in the other unit and are great hosts. I was concerned by other reviews warning that the air conditioning, which works extremely well on the main floor, does not reach the bunk beds in the loft…that was true during the day when the sun was at its brightest, but was not a problem at all at night when my kids were going to sleep. The room cooled off both nights. There was a fan in the loft but they never needed to turn it on.

The property was a perfect location. We were able to walk across the street to the beach and were 1 mile from downtown. So you could walk the boardwalk to the shops or it was a quick drive to the restaurants. The owner lives on site and was super friendly. The upstairs isn’t air-conditioned. It didn’t bother us since it got cooler for us at night but just so renters are aware. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful spacious condo with a fantastic location!
We loved everything about this property! The condo was beautifully done with lots of space for my husband and I and our 4 kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of refrigerator space, a beautiful stove and dishwasher. Our favorite feature was the front deck right off the kitchen where you can enjoy the view of the beach, sunset and do lots of people watching. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, there is also a nice gas grill on the deck. There is an even larger deck off the third floor loft where the bunk beds are located which worked great when we had our family over to watch the sunset. The condo also has a large garage where we were able to safely keep our bikes and sandy beach gear in when we weren't using them. The half bath is located on the entry level floor along with the washer and dryer which was great to have for keeping our beach towels clean and dry (make sure you bring your own). I would say that the only drawback was that the third floor does not cool very well at all. The week we stayed was in the high 90"s and even though we kept all the blinds shut during the day and the rest of the condo very cold we could not get the third floor cool enough for sleeping. However, even with this one issue we can not wait to go back!!

Great Grand Haven Stay
Our group of 3 had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect with an even better view. The property felt brand new. Everything from the high end kitchen to the 2 balconies made the trip that much more enjoyable. The pictures really don’t do this place justice. Only drawback was that, even with the fan, the upstairs bunk bed area was a bit too warm.

We have stayed in many VRBOs. This was by far the cleanest I have ever seen! Top of the line appliances that were pristine. Very well appointed kitchen. Not like most that has plates and service for 6-8 people. They must have enough for at least two dozen or more. The view doesn’t get much better. You want sand? It’s even in the driveway. Truly wonderful place.

Lovely Getaway
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this rental! It’s beautiful and the picture in VRBO doesn’t do it justice. Great view and being across from the beach was so convenient! We met the owner who was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again but for a longer period of time!
