"Scott’s place was the perfect anchor for us to explore so much of Nova Scotia. We are all from California and there was so much to see and appreciate. The country was amazing, And Scott was the best host possible. We asked him about firewood, and he showed up that day and chopped some more for us. The house couldn’t have been more welcoming, functional or beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time. "

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

Not enough robes or towels for every guest and there was an odd smell throughout the bathroom and washer/dryer closet. "The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment...
