Absolutely lovely hotel, staff were amazing, room was amazing. Very happy all round with this hotel, would definitely recommend to stay here. They even have a wake up call for the aurora, which we were very lucky enough to see the lights.

Spacious room & quality food at Elderly restaurant. Perfect ! Outdoor areas & car wind screen changed to white due to unpredictable first snow with strong wind in late September. Guests should pay more attention on road safety & sudden weather change.

This is a great parking around myvatan. Clean, nice and good breakfast. Only thing is the parking and the walk to hotel can be slippery, as the temperature drops below zero in morning and late evenings from September onwards. Also as this is in middle of nowhere, except good views nothing else to do.

Serene and self-contained. Just a great place to hang out and go to and fro from. I do wish there were a walking trail on the property. It’s on a knoll, and it would have been pleasant to amble about up there.

We Loved the property!!!!! The breakfast was great and had a lot of hot options! The hotel decor was very nice. The location was perfect and rooms were bigger than most in Iceland.
