"We really enjoyed our stay! We were comfortable and had everything we needed to fix meals (which we loved eating on the lanai). We had a great time playing golf on the golf course The views were incredible! "

"Wanted to get a feel for DH vibe. My son recently purchased a lot there. This is our 7th trip to the Big Island, and first time to stay in Naalehu. Definitely more chill, less people and less touristy. Volcano was spectacular! House was adequate. Furnishings were spartan, not very homey. Kitchen was very nice with newer appliances, except the frig door didn't seal tightly.Overall an enjoyable stay, it's Hawaii!!"

"We loved our time here! The property is just like the photos and it's so close to Volcanoes National Park. There was an eruption the day we arrived and we were able to get to it in 10 minutes. It's also just beautiful to be surrounded nature. A comment: there weren't any blinds/curtains, so be aware when the sun comes through in the morning."

"It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again."

"This was a great house to serve as a base camp for this side of the island. It was minutes from the national park. The house and yard were a quiet oasis. "

"The owners felt more like family than "just someone renting a vacation home". The location was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable Exciting. Sometimes a bit thrilling! The music was playing when we arrived. We felt so welcome. The beds were comfy and the sofa was inviting but nothing (even the pictures) quite prepared us for the view. Alaskans Loved Kona Palace

"Kona Palace was the biggest treat of our trip to Big Island. The home is gorgeous- very clean and filled with art, antiques and beautiful stained glass. The view of Kaalakakua Bay is unsurpassed—with homemade hot breakfast served and cooked by the host. They also have worked hard to cultivate gorgeous landscaping- flowering bushes and palms. We were warmly welcomed and will return. "
